Battlestar Galactica: Blood And Chrome is finished, and I have some free time to get back to the Drex Files!
I’m in the midst of organizing a massive post day that is guaranteed to curl your synapses, AND I’m guaranteeing a rock solid date, Sunday Dec 04 (although it is not out of the question that I may be ready earlier. If that happens, you’ll be the first to know!). There will be previously unseen goodies from the past, brand spankin new artwork from upcoming Pocket novels, and a rockin’ new Drex-TV video blog! Even as we speak, the Ships Of The Line posse is preparing retina scorching animations for a new edition of SOTL: ACTIVE DUTY! More lost VFX home video from Gary Hutzel, and new interviews with folks who have made Star Trek more than a TV show. So thrusters at station keeping, and standby to receive transmission!
Eagerly looking forward to all of the above! Do you hear “thank you” often enough? Even if you do, add one more to the pile.
Sounds like fun, I look forward to it. I love it when you have your “post party” days.
Looking forward to the next “party” Doug. Glad to know everything with Blood and Chrome is finished. Sounds like you all had a huge job getting it completed on time. Looking forward to seeing it.
Oh yeah, baby! CANNOT wait! Needs my Drex Files fix, man!
…Ships Of The Line posse… Love that!
peace & bananas | deg
Ps. Oh man, Blood and Chrome is the shiza, peeps!
Bam! Bananas all ’round!
Hey time off boy come see the big Enterprise and sit in the Command chair. Both are done! Welcome back Doug!
BTW folks if it wasn’t for Doug I would have never finished the big Enterprise model nor would it have turned out so accurate!
Doug was my biggest supporter and contributor which I’m sure comes as no surprise to the people here.
Thanks Doug!
steve
“Drexcellent!”
Hey Doug Can’t wait! Thanks for the update!
Cannot wait to see those STOL’s in motion again!
Still baffled as to why SyFy is not marketing ‘BnC’ for next year like it did the Re-imagined BSG years ago. Granted the network has changed since 2004. I don’t quite understand why it’s being considered for the web, with so much talent behind the project.
In any case..I have two things to look forward too..So I am happy! Thanks D. for the update.
Marking 12-04-2011 on the calendar as “leave Craig alone because he’ll be at the Drex Files Party all day.” Done and done!
I’m officially a member of a posse now? Awesome! And I’m in such great company, too!
deg: Bananas gratefully accepted! Anyone got any chocolate syrup?
Eric N.: “Drexcellent” may well be the coolest word I’ve heard anyone dream up in a long time. Nice job!
Looking forward to the festivities. What a great Post-Thanksgiving / Pre-Christmas treat!
Looking forward to more from the Files and B&C too.
You guys just spoil us fans. Thank you.
Do you know at all when BSG fans will hear anything new or see anything new related to B&C?
Channel open
(and thanks as always)
Congrats on finishing B&C! But I sure hope there´s more work in that regard coming your way. Looking forward to the Active duty in motion clips…
cant wait
Hello Doug,
I’ve been looking for a copy of Collier’s March 14 1953 issue. It’s part of their space series. However it was another article I wanted entitled “who will be the next pope?” There seems to be lots of issues around for the week before and the week after but this issue is turning out to be hard to find. Anyhow if you have the issue and feel inclined to scan it and send it to my e-mail thomascarter555@yahoo.ca I would be enormously grateful.
All the best.
Oh yeah! I can’t wait for a healthly dose of the the Drex Files, fortified with Vitamin Awesome! (Bust out the Vita-Ray machine, Mr. Stark!)
Can’t wait for everyone to see Blood & Chrome! Jaws will drop – so say we all!
Hey Doug. I’m curious what you think of the vfx work seen in the new TNG Blu-ray trailer.
Hoping for ‘Vipers and Raiders” when “Blood and Chrome” comes out.
Hey Doug, have you seen this yet? Just in time for Thanksgiving. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=EYkRF_FmD40 It’s an instant classic from our favorite Captain.
Go, Shat, Go! Show us how it’s done, Cap’n!
Yea, updates….I will even bring the Chocolate Syrup for this one. Hope Santa Drex has some nice big Vanguard Orthos for us who have been very good this year.
Counting the days…
Oh boy! B&C and the Drex files!
Christmas has come early!
Oh William! The Pain . . . (of waiting)!
Thrusters at station keeping, aye. Standing by…
Looking forward to it. But never promise a specific posting date. Just say it will be up when it’s done.
I’m really looking forward to all of this Doug. You sure have a way of keeping us primed and pumped. Congratulations and many thanks for all your efforts, and especially for your encouragement. Im very glad to be aboard at last.
Deg> Finally made it brother. I owe you a bushel of bananas.
Doug, are you aware of this recent Galileo shuttlecraft news?….

The wait is killing me. Really looking forward to this. Hooooraaaahhhhh !
NBC/Universal is really putting the breaks on SyFy. It baffles me such silence, and hesitance of airing a Pilot such as Blood an Chrome would be so….difficult. A Pilot does not necessarily mean a series. So I am left to ponder like many Science Fiction fans, why the silence?
