Drex Files – Orbit One!

I’m gathering stuff for tomorrow. A few fun things too!

I’ve enjoyed The “When Andy Weighed In” thread. Some wonderful observations, and wow… some are just dripping with sarcasm! Sarcasm is an art form! It makes me realize how much I’ve really enjoyed all of you! It’s almost a full year of the drex files now, and man, there is just a giant well of stuff for us lovers to wade into. It feels great. Orbit one!

Be here tomorrow, ’cause the drex files bathysphere just came up from about 9000 feet, and daddy-o, there is some bonafide rarefied coolness!

Save the fair maiden from a terrible plight! Aaaarrghhh!!

And a fun time has been had by all, dug (I mean Master Drexler)! I was just hoping that the “Andy” thread doesn’t discourage you from posting more “New Trek” related material because of the ever present passion on both sides of the line. :) But I’ve enjoyed it and ALL of the fun comments this week, as always!

P.S. The sun’ll come out tomorrow…for another rollicking, informative day at the ‘Files. See ya there.

Sure that’s not Cabazon instead of Palm Desert?

    It’s comming right for us!

Haha, I remember seeing that old dino in lots of movies. The last time I seem to remember it was in that Gamer movie with Ben Savage.

Thank goodness there is a chain link fence to stop the beast.

    Fun stuff.

Hey, mudshark — you are correct, sir! It’s Cabazon, on the road to Palm Springs.

We also took the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway that day:

Felt like some weird Where Eagles Dare/Sound of Music mutation! Fun!

I thought he looked familiar — that’s just a few miles down the road from where I am. What did you think of the tramway? I haven’t been on it for years but I remember the views being pretty spectacular.

Thank God you both survived! Especially Dorth! If she’d been eaten that day, so many delicious meals would have gone uncooked!

Can’t wait for more Doug. Bring it on.

Too bad it wasn’t at Vasquez Rocks where coal and sulfur is lying around. It would have increased your chances.

I wonder what phaser setting that T-Rex could take…..

Is this the same dinosaur park featured in “Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure?” If so, I heard it was recently turned into a kind of creationist museum.

Ultra-fun shot! A great way to turn just-another-tourist-photo into something much more memorable and creative!

For some reason I keep thinking about that old Ringo Starr movie Caveman. :)
