Matt! These are freakin’ shiny!
Top one, for sure.
It’s very nice.
Doug, I’m afraid the banners aren’t loading either on the main page or in the article itself.
They load for me, and I have to agree with Milé, the top one is the winner.
PS Loving the updates, Doug.
I’m voting for the top one as well
Definitely the top one. Just has the right feel for your blog.
Very nice, Matt. The folders works overall, though the red glowy logo on the second, married with it, could add a nice zing.
Thanks so much Doug!
And thanks to everyone else for their kind words!
Good stuff. I like the top one myself, but it doesn’t go with the current WordPress theme as well as the second does.
Love the top one, I think it’s probably the best when you think of the varying types of content that appear here.
I like them all, but the bottom one I like because of the nature of hollywood and Trek. It’s all about the little kid in all of us and wanting so much to believe!
Nice job, Matt, and thanks for the encouragement and pointers you give me.
It’s also a pun on the X-Files and Mulder’s “I want to believe” UFO poster.
Yup, that’s why he picked it.
That’s just some swamp gas in that banner. Or the planet Venus.
Looks like balloon boy’s dad is at it again! LOL!!
Me likey! All three in fact. No reason not to use them all!
*sigh* Its times like these I wish I had some sort of demonstrable talent.
The first one’s definitely the best idea, though I agree the that the colour scheme of the second one works better with the blog’s skin. Just as long as no one thinks this is an X-Files blog.
Love the 1st one.
Nice! I like all of em.
All good, but I’d vote for number 3.
I vote for the 1st one! The secret files of Doug Drexler…
Nice stuff, Matt.
LLP,

When I saw 10 new emails all of a sudden in my inbox, I know deg had to be in the room!
Missed ya over the weekend, pal.
Busy getting my reel updated with TOS.5.2 E, and this awesome fly-by of my (Ryan Dening’s design) Sacagawea-Class scout. I’ll send you a link, eh.

Oooh! Send me too deg!
