Woo, double feature! The drama continues as Tracy is trapped, but… “Doc will be waiting”? Is that Frost? Is this all his plan? What’s in the ice/water? So many questions!
Haha! Angelus! Beat me to it!
I actually beat you and Dea to the punch on this? There’s an upside to staying up late! For now, back to my Mint Tea and then bed.
Talk about intense! Awesome! I’ll say there’s something going on outside the trailer! That foam truck better get there fast because things’ll be heating up for Tracy!
How very interesting – “Doc will be waiting…” eh? Could that be the seemingly infamous Dr. Frost?
I love this comic!!
I don’t know why, but I busted out a laugh when Sam doesn’t calmly tell Dick that there is a situation and he’s sending for help, but instead loudly tells him to take a look and shows him instead! HA! Foam truck…on the double!!!
My bet is that it IS “Doc” Frost.
Thanks for coming through for us, Doug…as usual!
Phew! I honestly thought Tracy might be a goner.
Interesting… The Monday strip (which I assume is the first one in this set) just continues forward from the Sunday strip with the assumption that the reader is aware of what happened. Generally, in my experience, serialized comic strips tend to be structured so that anything that happens on Sunday is recapped on Monday, for the benefit of readers in cities whose papers don’t carry the Sunday edition of that strip. But I guess Dick Tracy was big enough that just about everyone carried it.
