Heh heh – looks like we were wrong on the name, but I’m guessing Lita Flite is based on Amelia Earhart!
The story of how the body made it from the mid-Pacific to Alaska should be an intersting one! That’s a long way for a current to carry a body. Maybe it took the plane with her? Or, was she lying about her actual position?
A couple thousand miles? There are an aweful lot of hungry sea creatures that would take their toll…unless the whole plane drifted that far, but still…seems far fetched she would have gotten that far IN the water.
Oh I agree, rather improbable, but I suppose there is some way/how it could happen. Now we have to wait for the next strip, dang comic strip that hooks you

My, how did Amel…I mean Lita end up that far north? I know! Wait and read along with strip.
Is is me, or does Liz do that open-mouthed shocked expression thing a lot?
It doesn’t seem implossible that she would have drifted upwards after crashing does it?
