Oooooh! I love the line down each of those gun turret barrels right at the unsuspecting Enterprise. “I can see you…can you see me?”

I love that belly turret gun, it’s so clunky and mean-looking, perfect for the Klingons.
And I really like the big asteroid; the texturing is amazing.
Yowza! Those smaller asteroids are drifting awafully close to the Klingon ship. They must have their deflectors set at minimum, obviously in an effort to be more stealthy.
Seriously, an incredible image. I will definitely be picking up the SOTL calendar this year.

When I had originally turned in that image. It had the Enterprise from TOS in it, instead of the The NX-01 Enterprise. But at the time the calendar was leaning to heavy to the TOS side, so they asked me to replace the ship. I’m glade that you guys like it. It was one of my favorite ones to do.

Poised and ready to strike! To me this beautifully shows the stealthy hunter side of the Klingons. It’s entirely in character that they’d let those asteroids get dangerously close, while waiting for the Enterprise to come in range. Good call to Syd for the grappler idea, that would make a cool scene!
