Almost getting to the resolution of the mystery! sooo close!
Neat that they used Moon Maid’s antennae to pick up the faint sounds of a radio being played.
The ancient feller still looks like he’d snap his arm right off if he tried to use that gun. I don’t even know how he can lift the coffee pot to pour it!
I don’t think Moon Maid’s hearing the radio, I think her antennae are directly sensing the radio waves. I mean, with those little lightning bolts constantly shooting out around them, and the things she’s able to do, those antennae clearly have electromagnetic properties.
Yeah I thought of that but then if that were true, wouldn’t she always be picking up radio waves? how would she know it is being tuned into specifically at a location?
He’s gotta be tougher than he looks to have used that crowbar. I enjoy getting to the point where the two plots meet, it looks like it’s going to be exciting.
I just realised I’m more interested in checking back here for old Dick Tracy comics than I am about seeing what’s on TV…
Yikes! The old guy sitting in the chair is pretty dang creepy! With the way he’s behaving, it makes you wonder if he’s a prisoner up there or there on his own accord. I suppose it’s possible that he has Stockholm syndrome. I’m curious to see how he’s linked to the dead person in the tree!
Can’t wait to see how Jade explains away the radio and if he tries to stop Tracy and Moon Maid from searching the house!
That floating (looking) arm in the first two frames is creepy looking.
So the old guy just admitted to shooting Smitz, who is the little guy in the picture that Jade ID’d as his Dad…maybe he just made a mistake, but you’d think he knows which one his father is! Hmmm….

The end of the second row, in the little writing he said that he “stopped” Jake Smitz with the same derringer…I assumed that meant “shot”.
