HA, that was fun! Knew it would be. The promo itself (caught Monday) was almost better though, as it just oozed TOS, from font to sound-effects to music... The show was fun too, I esp. like Hodges' launching line at the outset: "He's dead, Jim." Seeing that Brass' first name is Jim and all.

You know, it just hit me that I misspoke earlier: there IS one post mortem procedural show I watched religiously, and it was the granddaddy of them all: Quincy. I have no idea why I liked that show so much, but I remember arranging my class schedule one semester in college around afternoon reruns of Quincy. I think I looked forward to the ubiquitous Jack Klugman sanctimonious scenery-chewing speech that happened toward the end of every episode - perhaps in much the same way that, as a child, I looked forward to Bill Bixby's twice-per-episode Hulk-out. In both instances, it was something to see.

Setting the record straight feels so good! ;)

LOL, I just watched it. Ron WAS funny. Nice seeing Grace Park and Kate Vernon making an appearance as well.

And I agree with Jay about shows of this type. I have never watched an episode of CSI, just not my bag, baby. But this one was great. Score another hit for the Dynamic Duo (Thompson and Weddle)

That was fun. I'm not a fan of that whole genre of post mortem procedural shows as a rule but that was good for a giggle. Thanks, Doug!

Can't see the video in that link as it not available to those of us outside of the US.

However where not that far behind the US boardcast of C.S.I in the UK so I will keep an eye out for it.

Commander Bishop! I love it! CSI has been a favorite show of mine, but a busy schedule has left me far behind in the episodes. Thanks for posting the link to the episode! It looks great!!
